Each year Carpinteria Beautiful purchases trees from the Boy Scout lot on Carpinteria Avenue. We decorate them with lights and invite classes from the elementary schools to make decorations.
The children come to the plaza and trim the trees, enjoy homemade cookies and punch and sing carols leaving Linden Plaza ready for the holidays. The trees stay in the plaza until after the new year at which time they are recycled.
