Each year Carpinteria Beautiful sets up two classic Christmas Trees in the Linden Plaza. We decorate them with lights and invite classes from the elementary schools to make decorations.
On the appointed day, the children come to the plaza with their class and their handmade ornaments. They trim the trees, enjoy homemade cookies and punch and sing carols. Then it’s back to school, leaving themselves, the plaza and all who pass by filled with the holiday spirit.
